Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut claimed that PM Narendra Modi’s successor would be from Maharashtra and decided by the RSS. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis countered, asserting Modi would continue as PM until 2029. The speculation arose following Modi’s visit to the RSS headquarters. Fadnavis emphasized discussing succession while Modi is still active is inappropriate.
