Rosé opens up about the future of BLACKPINK

Rosé became a globally popular name with the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, but she also gained a lot of love in her career as a solo artist. All four members of the band are exploring their solo careers now and collaborating with several artists. Not just music, but Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa have forayed into acting as well. Now amid this, Rose has spoken about the future of the band and the pressure of being an idol.
During a recent interview, she was asked whether the bad ever thought of breaking up to which she answered, “It was definitely a moment of all of us sitting down and thinking about what we wanted individually, all four of us. Because, you know, it’s a group of four, like we all have to make decision on behalf of like what we really truly wanted. And so it wasn’t like a quick decision.”
She continued, “I think it was over the course of like a few months, like we kind of started thinking about it in advance. I think as we all like, we communicated a lot and we just thought we, I think we all have obviously love for BLACKPINK and performing as BLACKPINK. But I think we were, I would say mature enough to come to a conclusion that in order for us to continue this in a healthy way and maintain that passion in the long run, we also have to acknowledge that we all have also individual needs and wants. We came to a healthy conclusion of making sure we all got to do what we wanted to do for a good period of time and then get together. So that’s what’s happening.” She then confirmed that BLACKPINK will reunite next year as they are set for tour.
She also shared her experience of transitioning from a trainee to an actual K-pop idol and said that was the hardest part for her. She said, “I think that might’ve been the hardest part for me, because I think being a trainee, yes, settling into this whole new world with people you don’t know, that is challenging, but it was still off camera, and I got to make mistakes. But I feel like the transition of now having to be on camera and being an artist and presenting to the world who I am, that’s something we just had to learn as we went. So, the first few years were very difficult for me, personally. But a few years in, I started picking it up and learning.”
Rose and Bruno Mars recently won the Global Sensation award for their track APT at the 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

Ram Charan and Kiara Advani will be sharing the screen for the first time in Game Changer and the anticipation is already high for the film. Today, the makers dropped the poster of the third track of the movie, creating more buzz around it.
Shankar Shanmugham, the director of the film took to Instagram to share the poster and write, “Let the melody carry you away” #GameChangerThirdSingle from Nov 28th! #gamechangeronjan10 A @musicthaman musical.”

The poster shows Ram Charan and Kiara’s sizzling chemistry as they both twin in lavender colour outfits and pose against a picturesque backdrop.
Ram Charan will be essaying the role of an IAS officer in this film Kiara Advani playing his love interest. Game Changer is set to release on January 10, 2025.
