Sapne Vs Everyone Season 2 Trailer: Ambrish Verma and Paramvir Singh Cheema Lead High-stakes Drama

The intense trailer of Sapne vs Everyone season two was unveiled today, offering a powerful glimpse into a hard-hitting story of ambition, revenge, and identity unfolding across Mumbai’s film industry and real estate landscape.

Written and directed by Ambrish Verma and produced by Arunabh Kumar and Vijay Koshy under the banner of The Viral Fever, the five-episode series returns with Verma, Paramvir Singh Cheema, and Vijayant Kohli in lead roles. The show also stars Abhishek Chauhan, Nidhi Shah, and Khushali Kumar in pivotal roles.
The trailer for the latest season gives the audience a refresher as it revisits key moments from season one before plunging straight into the chaos that lies ahead.
Set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s film industry and the high-stakes world of real estate, the fast-paced montage captures how every decision comes at the cost of leveraging powerful connections, huge sums of money and power struggles.
It follows Prashant’s (Paramvir Singh Cheema) gritty hustle in an unforgiving film industry and Jimmy’s (Ambrish Verma) calculated climb through the cut-throat world of real estate and politics, ruled by power, ambition, and control.
As old wounds resurface, their journeys spiral through rejection, revenge and risky choices.
The trailer leaves viewers with a haunting question: in a world where dreams don’t come easy and are earned through every setback you survive, how far are you willing to go to claim them? Will Prashant finally get that big break, will Jimmy settle old scores?
Watch it here:
Ambrish Verma, who plays Jimmy and is the writer and director of Sapne vs Everyone Season two, said, “Sapne vs Everyone has not been just another project for me, but a dream. The incredible love and appreciation that Season one received from audiences across the world inspired us to bring Season two to life, continuing this grounded story that reflects social realities many of us relate to. I am grateful to TVF and Prime Video for giving me the platform to share this journey with audiences in India and beyond. In the new season, you will see characters more intense and evolved, raising both the scale and the stakes. I am especially excited for viewers to see Jimmy’s journey- he’s more layered, conflicted, and driven than before. I can’t wait for audiences to experience the new season of Sapne vs Everyone when it premieres on Prime Video on May 1.”
Paramvir Singh Cheema, who continues to portray the character of Prashant in Sapne vs Everyone Season two, shared, “It has been truly overwhelming to see the love audiences showered on the first season and the way they’ve embraced my character. Getting the opportunity to return as Prashant has been incredibly rewarding. I’m deeply grateful for the support we received and can’t wait for everyone to join Prashant again as he continues chasing his dreams of becoming an actor. Watch Sapne vs Everyone Season 2, only on Prime Video, starting May 1.”

You will find there is greater tension, more complexity, and constantly shifting dynamics between characters. I am sure the viewers will enjoy Kukreja’s character as much as I did portraying him in the latest season of Sapne vs Everyone.”

Revathy Revisits The Magic of Michael Jackson After Watching Biopic

Veteran actor and filmmaker Revathy recently shared her thoughts after watching Michael, the much-talked-about biopic on pop icon Michael Jackson. Featuring his nephew Jaafar Jackson in the lead, the film appears to have struck a nostalgic chord with the actor.

Taking to social media, Revathy reflected on how the film transported her back to a time when Jackson’s music defined an entire generation. “Watched Michael and was taken back to the early 80s when his music was a rage… what charisma he had, what an artist…” she wrote, capturing the essence of an era shaped by the King of Pop’s global influence.

Her words echo the sentiment shared by many who grew up during Jackson’s peak years, when his music, dance and stage presence were not just popular but cultural landmarks. For audiences of that time, revisiting his journey through cinema can feel like reliving a formative moment in pop history.

“A true artist” and a lasting influence

Continuing her tribute, Revathy emphasised the qualities that set Michael Jackson apart, both as a performer and as an artist with a larger vision. Writing “in memory of MJ,” she added, “He owned the stage he performed on… there is a lot to learn about dedication, focus and being sensitive to the world around, believing that art and music can change the world!!! A true artist is one who is always trying to speak with their Art… in memory of MJ.”

Her note goes beyond admiration and leans into reflection, highlighting the discipline and intent behind Jackson’s artistry. It is a perspective that aligns with how the singer has long been perceived, not merely as an entertainer, but as a creative force who constantly pushed boundaries.

The biopic itself aims to capture that journey. Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan, Michael traces the evolution of Jackson’s life, from his early days with the Jackson 5 to his meteoric rise as a solo global icon. The narrative reportedly spans key milestones, including the defining years leading up to the Bad tour, offering a sweeping look at his career.

Bringing a legend to life on screen

At the centre of the film is Jaafar Jackson, whose casting has drawn significant attention given his real-life connection to the legend. The supporting ensemble features Colman Domingo and Nia Long as Joe and Katherine Jackson, while Miles Teller plays John Branca, the singer’s long-time advisor and attorney.

The film also brings together a host of notable characters from Jackson’s life and career. Larenz Tate steps into the role of Motown founder Berry Gordy, Laura Harrier portrays music executive Suzanne de Passe, and Kat Graham appears as Diana Ross.

Further rounding out the cast are Jessica Sula as La Toya Jackson, Liv Symone as Gladys Knight, Kendrick Sampson as Quincy Jones, Kevin Shinick as Dick Clark and KeiLyn Durrel Jones as Bill Bray, Jackson’s long-time friend and security head.

Described as “an intimate look at the life and enduring legacy of one of the most influential, trailblazing artists the world has ever known,” the film attempts to balance spectacle with introspection. It charts Jackson’s transformation from a child prodigy into a global phenomenon whose impact continues to resonate decades later.

For Revathy, the experience of watching Michael seems to have been less about rediscovery and more about reconnecting with a legacy that never quite faded. Her words serve as a reminder that beyond the controversies and complexities, Michael Jackson’s artistry remains a benchmark for performers across generations.
