As the nation mourns the loss of business tycoon Ratan Tata, his ailing brother Jimmy Naval Tata arrived in a wheel-chair to pay his final respects in NCPA lawns Mumbai.
Legendary industrialist Ratan Tata passed away on Wednesday at the age of 86 after battling age-related ailments. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao among other notable personalities arrived at National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) lawns, at Nariman Point, where Tata’s mortal remains have been kept. While speaking to media, Aamir and Kiran grieved the loss and called the late industrailst a ‘good man.’
Today, on October 10, Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao arrived to pay their last respects to Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, Ratan Tata. In the video that has surfaced on the internet, the former couple was seen folding their hands and bowing their head in respect and expressing somber over the unfortunate demise of the noted figure.
Before leaving the venue, Aamir spoke with the media personnel that were standing out. Expressing his sorrow, he said, “Aaj ka din bahut hi dukh bhara hai hum sabke liye. Pure desh ke liye rattan ji ne jo contribution diya hai, unki company tata unke pehle se aur unke leadership mein jo contrubton diya hai desh ke liye vo amulya hai it’s priceless and bahut hi rare kism ke insaan aur hum sab unko bahut miss karenge.”
In addition to this, Kiran Rao also called it a sad day. She remembered Tata as a noble person stating, “Bahut hi amazing insaan the hum thoda waqt bhi bita chuke hain unke saath bahut ache insaan the to bahut dukh lagta hai ke gaye lekin bahut karke gaye hain hamare desh ke liye to unke liye bas…”
