In a delightful intersection of his professional and personal life, Ranbir Kapoor has revealed how his latest cinematic venture is becoming a part of his daughter Raha’s childhood. The actor, who is set to play Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, recently shared that he has been narrating the epic’s stories to his three-year-old daughter at home. During a media interaction at a recent event in Los Angeles, where the film’s teaser was showcased to an exclusive audience, Ranbir spoke fondly about the curiosity of his little one. He shared that Raha is deeply engaged with the tales he tells her. According to him, Raha often asks him sweet questions about his workday, such as, “Did you shoot with Lord Hanuman today? Or Sita today? What did you do today?
For Ranbir, the timing of this role feels like a blessing. He told AP, “I was extremely blessed to have this opportunity that coincided with me becoming a father.” He mentioned that seeing a child as young as Raha show such interest proves how deeply these cultural stories are embedded in our subconscious. He added, “The culture is so seeped into our subconscious that it comes very naturally, the love and interest come very naturally to us.

Interestingly, Ranbir disclosed that he had initially turned down the role because he did not feel prepared to play Lord Rama. However, the birth of Raha shifted his perspective, leading him to eventually embrace the project. In a further surprise for fans, Ranbir confirmed he will be playing a double role in the film, playing both Lord Rama and Lord Parshuram.
