Bibi Rajni Box Office Collection Week 3: Roopi Gill-starrer devotional film continues its BLOCKBUSTER run, earning Rs 14 crore

Bibi Rajni, directed by Amar Hundal, continues its glorious trend at the box office. The Punjabi movie is not slowing down anytime soon. Starring Roopi Gill and Yograj Singh in the lead, the devotional drama has touched the nerves of the audience, which is the major reason why the movie is doing phenomenal business at the ticket window.

Bibi Rajni Adds Rs 2.6 Crore To The Tally In Third Week

After an impressive first week of Rs 5.60 crore, the movie jumped in its second weekend and registered another superb week of Rs 6.10 crore, which is unusual for movies without a star face.

In its third week, Bibi Rajni faced major competition from Gippy Grewal and Jasmine Bhasin starrer Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di, which somehow affected its blockbuster wave. However, the movie collected Rs 2.6 crore in its third week and took the total cume to Rs 14.46 crore net at the Indian box office in three weeks.

Interestingly, both Bibi Rajni and Ardaas 3 are devotional movies. It had not happened before when the two devotional Punjabi movies stormed the box office with a superb trend in the same week.

Bibi Rajni Closes Third Week At Rs 30 Crore Worldwide, BLOCKBUSTER

Besides its phenomenal domestic theatrical run, the movie is doing extremely well in foreign markets. The Punjabi movie has grossed a total of Rs 30.50 crore at the worldwide box office, of which Rs 13.50 crore came from overseas locations, while India contributed Rs 17 crore.

Bibi Rajni is showing the trajectory of Chaar Sahibzade. It will be interesting to see whether it can take advantage of National Cinema Day on its fourth Friday and see another spike in collections. The devotional movie is relatively small compared to Gippy Grewal’s latest release, Ardaas 3. However, it succeeded in attracting the crowd with its strong content and showed the potential to hit a massive number by the end of its theatrical run.

Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela enjoyed wonderful and heartwarming moments with their daughter Klin Kaara while visiting Melbourne, Australia. The joyful parents were spotted having a great time with their little girl, engaging with the unique wildlife native to that beautiful country.

The series of throwback pictures were unveiled by Upasana herself who penned the words, “Cherished forever,” accompanied by an infinity sign.

Ram Charan and Upasana had recently made the headlines after the duo went viral for another throwback picture. The photo had gone viral after everyone noticed a 10-month-old Klin Kaara’s face being revealed in the picture.

Moreover, another reason why Ram had hit the headlines was when his pet dog Rhyme was swarmed by fans recently. However, to everyone’s surprise, Rhyme Konidela was actually with his dog dad all this time while fans had actually mobbed his brother, Toffee.

Ram Charan is currently undergoing the prep work for his next project, RC16, under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana. Known for his work on Uppena, the director is planning to showcase the Rangasthalam actor in a village-centered sports drama that promises to deliver a compelling and intense storyline.

The upcoming movie features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead with Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar also playing a key role. Moreover, the makers are also bringing in AR Rahman to craft the tracks and scores of the film.

Furthermore, Ram Charan is all geared up to appear in the film Game Changer, directed by S Shankar. The political thriller movie which has been in the making for quite some time is expected to hit the big screens on Christmas this year.

The film, rumored to depict Ram as an IAS officer is based on a story narrated by Karthik Subbaraj and features an ensemble cast that includes Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Srikanth, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Additionally, the creators have revealed that the second single from the movie will be released in September after the first single Jargandi was released back on Ram’s birthday.

EXCLUSIVE: Dhvani Bhanushali and Aashim Gulati on working with each other

Popular singer Dhvani Bhanushali has made her debut in Bollywood with the movie Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam, which stars Aashim Gulati in a lead role alongside her. Recently, the duo engaged in a tête-à-tête with Filmfare, as Dhvani and Aashim candidly opened up about their chemistry from the very first day on sets.

While speaking to Filmfare’s Editor-In-Chief Jitesh Pillaai, Aashim jokingly noted that working with Dhvani wasn’t an easy experience. “Honestly, it was very difficult to work with her (Laughs).” When asked if she was the easiest person to work with, Aashim enthusiastically noted that she was. ” She’s is the best. Her superpower is her innocence. Maybe she won’t remember me after doing many more movies, but she is quite lovely as of now.”

Dhvani opened up on her experience of working with Aashim. She revealed being nervous on the sets as a rookie actress. “I was initially nervous because Aashim has a lot of years of experience over me. Going into a film with someone who has done so much of work can get intimidating,” she added. Opening up about working with Saurabh Dasgupta and Laxman Utekar, Dhvani instantly noted that she felt “quite unnerving.”

She opened up further, noting that Aashim made her feel comfortable on sets. “As a co-actor, Aashim really did good. He was constantly there for me.”
