The Prime Minister will hold a rally in Madurankatham near Chennai on Friday, signalling the NDA’s intent to project itself as the only political formation capable of taking on the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu in the upcoming Assembly elections.

The Rajasthan Cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday approved Disturbed Areas Bill, 2026, which aims to protect the properties of permanent residents and the rights of tenants in areas declared as disturbed.
