The Sabarmati Report

Based on the 2002 Godhra riots in Gujarat, The Sabarmati Report will see Vikrant Massey take on the role of a journalist. The film produced by Ektaa Kapoor also features Rashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra.

Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba

The sequel of the romantic thriller Haseen Dillruba will see Vikrant Massey reprise his role alongside Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal. The film is set to release on OTT. Further details are awaited.

Sector 36

Vikrant is also set to star in a crime thriller. Sector 36 which also features Deepak Dobriyal was announced back in 2022. So far, there are no new updates on the project.

Less than a month after issuing a bailable warrant against her for her repeated absence in hearings related to the 2008 Malegaon blast case, a special court in Mumbai has pulled up BJP MP Pragya Thakur once again. 

Ms Thakur, who is the prime accused in the case, gave the hearing a miss on Wednesday as well, citing health reasons, and the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court observed that her continued absence is hampering the trial. 
 

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee engaged in various activities during a campaign in Jalpaiguri ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. She plucked tea leaves alongside tea planters, participated in preparing and serving tea, and enjoyed a cup at a local tea stall. During the campaign, Banerjee also met and interacted with school children, emphasising the importance of education.
