While moviegoers have been thrilled to superstar Jr NTR in some high-octane action sequences in his last blockbuster Devara: Part 1, fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s next part. Amidst the hype, the RRR actor shared an important update on Koratala Siva’s directorial in a recent interview. 

In an interview with the Associated Press, Jr NTR was congratulated on the success of Devara: Part 1. Further, he was also asked if they had completed the shooting for the second installment of the franchise. Reacting to this, Jr NTR said, “No, not yet. We have shot for a few sequences but now that we have got this responsibility Part 1 is going good,  I think we will take a little more time to etch Part 2 into something bigger and better and which excites the audiences a little bit.”

Further, the superstar said I just want my director to take a month off and he sent Kortala Siva away from Hyderabad as a gift. “I said, I am going to send you away from Hyderabad. Go one month. Just go have fun and don’t think about anything else. Come back and then we will start writing for it again,” Jr NTR added. 

Moreover, the actor also confirmed that although the story for Devara: Part 2 is already ready and they have shot for two brilliant sequences they just need some time to refresh and re-energise and get back to the script. 

Coming back to Devara: Part 1 which was released on September 27, the film has become the highest-grossing solo opener for both Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, who feature as the lead couple. It is worth mentioning that the film also marks the second-biggest opener of the year and is poised for an even more remarkable weekend. Besides the lead couple, Devara features Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and many more in key roles.

Malayalam cinema’s power couple Prithviraj Sukumaran and wife Supriya Menon always seem to have a much fun banter online and it once again seems to continue. In a new post for the schedule of Mohanlal starrer L2: Empyrean, the actor announced a shifting shoot from Gujarat to Hyderabad.

The post featured a picture of the Salaar actor directing the movie and penned the caption, “L2: Empuraan. Guj ——> Hyd. A 1400kms shift, 12 hr turn around time, one hell of a team!” complimenting his crew for their efforts. However, what caught everyone’s eye is Supriya’s plea to her husband who asks him to come home and says, “Time to take a detour and come home director Saar!”

Since Artem Chigvintsev’s arrest, various issues have emerged between him and Nikki Garcia. Both have claimed the other was the aggressor in the incident that led to Chigvintsev’s arrest on August 29, 2024. They have since taken the matter to court, filing separate requests for domestic violence restraining orders.

On September 30, 2024, a judge granted Nikki Garcia a restraining order against Chigvintsev, as reported by PEOPLE. Similarly, on October 3, 2024, Chigvintsev requested protection from Garcia, which was granted by a judge on October 4.

A full hearing is scheduled for October 21, during which both parties have provided details of the incident. Garcia’s claim states that Chigvintsev became “increasingly angry” after being let go from Dancing with the Stars, where the couple met in 2017. She mentioned that although they had previously discussed controlling his anger, he snapped while yelling at her during a conversation about how Matteo’s English muffin should be toasted.

Chigvintsev, in his filing, alleged that Garcia had made him a “picky eater” and noted that she was stressed due to work. He contended that she escalated the argument, which initially focused on Matteo’s lunchbox and accusations about him not sharing parenting responsibilities. According to reports, when Chigvintsev left the room to “let her cool down” while preparing Matteo, the WWE wrestler followed him and continued the argument. As he tried to remain calm, Garcia became increasingly agitated and eventually demanded that he leave her house.
