Ranveer Singh And Aditya Dhar Set To Team Up Again in 2027 ?

After the massive success of their recent collaborations, Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar are reportedly in talks to reunite for a new film. This news comes on the back of the duo scoring two consecutive hits with the Dhurandhar franchise, both of which crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the box office.

According to recent reports, Aditya Dhar has developed a fresh concept that he is currently shaping into a full-fledged script. While the project is still in its early stages of development, Ranveer has emerged as the top choice to lead the film. The untitled venture is expected to be mounted on a massive scale, like the grandeur seen in their previous works like Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

Sources suggest that the film is slated to go on floors in March 2027. This timeline reportedly aligns with Dhar’s intention to take a well-deserved break after dedicating three years to the Dhurandhar project. He had previously expressed a desire to spend some personal time before starting his next big directorial venture.

About the development of the project, a report by Pinkvilla said, “Aditya Dhar has cracked an idea and is currently working on it. He’s excited about the concept and is developing it actively, with a plan to start the film by March 2027.”

While details about the plot remain under wraps, there is speculation about the subject matter. Rumours say that Dhar might be interested in a historical drama based on the founder of the Maurya Empire. Other possibilities mentioned include reviving his passion project, The Immortal Ashwatthama’ or working on a sports drama.

If the project is finalized, this collaboration is expected to be one of the most highly anticipated cinematic projects of 2027, bringing together a director-actor pairing that has already proven its mettle at the box office.
