Amid criticism of the new Income Tax Bill’s withdrawal from the Lok Sabha, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that introducing a Bill in Parliament after necessary amendments is a normal procedure.

Pakistan had closed its airspace for Indian aircraft a day after India suspended the Indus Water Treaty on 23rd April. Owing to that, Pakistan has suffered losses amounting to Rs 4.10 billion in two months.

The Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said that India welcomes the understanding between the US and Russia as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that, “This is not an era of war”.
