An accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Nuh district claimed the lives of seven sanitation workers, including six women, after a speeding van ran them over. Four others sustained critical injuries and were rushed to a Delhi hospital. The victims were cleaning the road near Ibrahimvas village when the incident occurred, leading to a major traffic disruption and a police investigation.

Amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan over the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty by New Delhi, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that the country was the true custodian of the Indus civilisation and warned India that “either their water will flow in the Sindh or else Indians blood will flow through it”.“The Indus is ours and will remain ours. Either our water will flow through it, or their (Indians) blood will,” Bhutto said at a public rally on Friday, escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack.
