Nearly 7,000 potted plants, valued at Rs10 lakh, were looted from the newly inaugurated Rashtra Prerna Sthal within 24 hours. Despite police presence, individuals were seen removing plants and leaving in vehicles. Authorities are now increasing security and relocating remaining plants to prevent further theft.

With a peak nitrate reading of 994 mg/l, Delhi ranked as the fifth worst-affected state or Union territory for nitrate contamination, followed by Andhra Pradesh.

The incident occurred when the ropeway from Rohtas block to Rohtasgarh Fort and Rohiteshwar Dham gave way along with an attached tower.
