External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar refuted Donald Trump’s assertion that trade negotiations facilitated a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Jaishankar clarified in Lok Sabha that no such linkage existed in discussions with the US. He also criticized the Congress party’s past actions while highlighting the government’s success in addressing terror sites and designating TRF as a global terrorist organization.

In Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces neutralized three terrorists in an intense firefight near Dachigam National Park. The operation, dubbed “Operation Mahadev,” follows reports linking the terrorists to the April 22 Pahalgam attack, where numerous tourists and a local resident were killed.
