Following the Pahalgam attack, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor,’ eliminating over 100 terrorists in precision strikes on nine terror launchpads across the border. The operation targeted key figures and high-profile sites linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Indian armed forces took great care to avoid collateral damage, while Pakistan’s retaliatory actions resulted in civilian casualties and damage to religious sites.
DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai confirmed the loss of five Indian soldiers during Operation Sindoor. He reported that Indian forces successfully repelled multiple aerial attacks targeting airfields and ammunition dumps.
