India’s calibrated military response to the Pahalgam terror attack included a strike on Muridke in Pakistan’s Punjab, which is home to the headquarters of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and is known as the “terror nursery” of Punjab.

Several flights connecting major cities in northern states have been impacted due to airspace restrictions in view of the Indian armed forces’ strikes on terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

In a significant escalation, the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing and artillery shelling along the Line of Control and International Border in Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the tragic deaths of three civilians. This aggression follows India’s launch of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ a counter-terror operation targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
