More than two weeks after the Ahmedabad plane crash, the DNA test has ascertained the identity of the last victim, and the death toll in the tragedy now stands at 260, officials said on Saturday.

An 80-year-old man, MG Singh, alleges mistreatment at a private old age home in Noida, claiming confinement and inadequate care. Following an inspection, the UP women’s commission exposed troubling conditions at Anand Niketan. Staff admitted to using restraints on inmates, citing mental health issues and understaffing.
