The Arab League has condemned the statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the annexation of parts of the territories of sovereign Arab states, in preparation for the establishment of what he called “Greater Israel.”

In a major setback for Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, the Supreme Court has cancelled his bail in a murder case, setting aside a Karnataka High Court order.

The Supreme Court emphasized the need to consider the ground reality in Jammu and Kashmir, citing incidents like Pahalgam, before restoring its statehood. The Centre has been asked to respond within eight weeks to a plea seeking immediate restoration.
