A group of protestors demonstrated outside the United Nations headquarters in New York against Bangladesh chief adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, accusing him of illegally seizing power and inciting violence. They called for his resignation, highlighting attacks on minorities and urging global leaders to intervene for peace in Bangladesh.

The Maharashtra Congress chief also predicted that his alliance would win around 180 seats in the soon-to-be-held assembly polls
