Kolkata Police volunteer Sanjay Roy was arrested for the rape and murder of a postgraduate doctor at RG Kar Hospital. He was identified through CCTV footage and a torn earphone. The autopsy revealed sexual assault and multiple injuries. The crime occurred early in the morning, with the victim’s body found at 7.30 am.
