INS Kolkata and INS Subhadra The Indian Navy vessel INS Kolkata successfully rescued the distressed MV Ruen, which had been hijacked by pirates since December 14, 2023. In a 40-hour operation assisted by INS Subhadra, the Navy rescued all 17 crew members unharmed and forced the surrender of 35 pirates.
