INS Kolkata and INS Subhadra The Indian Navy vessel INS Kolkata successfully rescued the distressed MV Ruen, which had been hijacked by pirates since December 14, 2023. In a 40-hour operation assisted by INS Subhadra, the Navy rescued all 17 crew members unharmed and forced the surrender of 35 pirates.

Many of the wounded were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Rewari and some were referred to other hospitals in Gurugram, Dharuhera, and Rewari, police said
