In a big boost for the military as well as defence production in India, the Defence Acquisition Council has cleared the procurement of 97 additional Tejas aircraft and 156 Prachand attack helicopters. Both aircraft are indigenously developed and the value of these deals is around Rs. 1.1 lakh crore.
Naga Chaitanya recently expressed admiration for his ex-wife Samantha’s work in The Family Man. When asked about a series that impressed him, he highlighted The Family Man during an interview with a leading news portal. This show, helmed by Raj & DK and featuring Manoj Bajpayee, garnered Naga’s praise, especially the second season which starred Samantha. He had previously shown support for her by cheering and rating the series 10/10 upon its release.
Naga and Samantha announced their separation in 2021 for reasons undisclosed to the public. Naga himself is preparing for his debut in the OTT space with the series Dhootha. This eight-episode show also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Prachi Desai in significant roles.
Discussing his OTT debut, Naga mentioned stepping out of his comfort zone and embracing challenges that push his boundaries. Dhootha, though a fictional narrative, promises to provoke thoughts and prompt the audience to reconsider their life choices and decisions.
Meanwhile, Samantha is gearing up for her role in the Indian adaptation of the American web series Citadel.
Akshay Kumar celebrated a proud moment as his wife and former actor Twinkle Khanna launched her fourth book, Welcome to Paradise. Alongside standing by her side at the Mumbai launch event, he also took to social media to express his joy. Twinkle reciprocated the acknowledgement, mentioning Akshay’s support on her own social media handles.
On Instagram, the Mission Mangal actor posted a picture of Twinkle holding her book at the launch event, flashing a million-dollar smile. Akshay’s caption reflected his immense pride, praising Twinkle’s endeavours, resilience, and achievements. He wrote, “Proud, prouder, proudest.
