The police force deployed at the Karnataka Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru had warned against the idea of holding the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)’s IPL trophy celebrations at the grand stairs of the premises.

Diana Turbay was a journalist and was kidnapped in 1990 by a group working under drug lord Pablo Escobar. She died in a failed rescue attempt.

Crime and FSL teams are currently inspecting the spot. CCTV footage from the neighbourhood is being scanned to identify the accused.
