The BJP has announced Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan as the NDA’s candidate for the Vice-President election, scheduled for September 9. This decision was finalized during a BJP Parliamentary Board meeting following Jagdeep Dhankhar’s resignation. With a majority in the electoral college, the NDA is expected to win, while the opposition INDIA bloc considers fielding a candidate.
