The statement came after US President Donald Trump on Monday announced to raise tariffs on Indian goods over the purchase and sale of Russian oil.

The Army also condemned media’s portrayal of the incident, calling it “sensationalist”, and warned against attempts to tarnish reputation of the armed forces.
