India sought enhanced security from Bangladesh after a group demonstrated inside the Indian visa centre in Dhaka, raising anti-India slogans. The demonstration caused panic among the staff, leading the Indian high commission to address the issue with Bangladesh’s foreign ministry. Police controlled the situation, and visa processing delays were noted due to limited staff.

CCTV footage of 15 days from a Badlapur school where two girls were assaulted is missing, said school education minister Deepak Kesarkar. The government will support the victims’ education and ensure stricter measures in schools, including panic alarms, for better security. Authorities are investigating the missing footage instance.
