Shah Rukh Khan is known as the ‘king of romance’ in Bollywood. But, his off-screen love story with now wife, Gauri Khan during their 20s is equally wonderful. The couple share a wonderful bond and sometimes share interesting anarchists from the same with their fans. In the same way, Shah Rukh Khan once shared an interesting instance from their married life when his wife Gauri exchanged his T-shirt for her handbag.

In a previous conversation with Farah Khan for a show, King Khan shared that his wife accepts his gifts but 99.99% of the time goes to the store and exchanges it. In the same context, he recalled a funny story when they were London.

The Pathaan actor shared that once he sustained an injury in his spine and had to stay there for around two months for his recovery. Since the actor was about to stay for a little longer then, he bought a T-shirt for himself. 

SRK later realised it was bigger than his size and decided to get it returned from the store with some cotton t-shirt. But, his wife, Gauri mentioned that the store doesn’t offer an exchange facility. However, later, the actor’s friends visited him and shared that the interior designer had already exchanged his t-shirt for a handbag which left him surprised.

He said, “Unhone tuhmare liye kuch nahi liya, unhone kaha yeh toh hospital mein hai, usse kya name kapde ki zaroorat hai, toh uske jagah unhone me handbag le liya.” (She didn’t took anything for your, she said you are in hospital and won’t need it, so she got a handbag.)

Manisha Koirala reveals Dimple Kapadia’s advice when she admitted being ‘bored of acting’; ‘I was like, ‘Yeh kya keh rahi hai?’

Manisha Koirala, who entertained the audiences with charm, beauty, and acting skills, returned to the screen with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Recently, she recalled a phase in her career when she was bored of the acting profession. Still, Dimple Kapadia asked her to enjoy the craft, and Koirala felt the veteran actress couldn’t decipher her perspective.

In a candid conversation with ANI, Manisha Koirala recalled a phase in her career when she couldn’t get excited at the prospect of work and was bored with her profession. As a result, she expressed her feelings to Dimple Kapadia, who was shooting with her for a film. But, the Bobby actress said something she couldn’t anticipate. 

Koirala shared, “I told her, ‘I am bored of acting.’ And she said, ‘You better enjoy it because this is not going to last forever.’ And such a great advice she gave me. But, at that point in time, I was like, ‘Yeh kya keh rahi hai? (What is she even saying?) Can’t she understand I am bored?’ My inner conversation was different.”

However, a few years later, the Dil Se understood the meaning and intention of the Sagar actress’s ‘sound advice’ because she could relate. However, she recounted ‘feeling bored’ of acting in a phase of her life when she worked multiple shifts a day on different films and felt overwhelmed.

The Sanju actress explained that her day used, to begin with 2 to 3 hours of makeup and that she worked three shifts in different movies. Unlike today, she didn’t get any leave on weekends or otherwise. Gradually, the tiredness made her lose interest in her profession. 

Manisha Koirala made her debut in Bollywood with Saudagar in 1992. Since then, she has given several notable performances in films like Dil Se, Khamoshi the Musical, Company, 1942: A Love Story, Akele Hum Akele Tum, and more. 

But she was diagnosed with cancer and underwent treatment in 2012, taking a break from work to focus on her health and gave a wonderful performance as later actress Nargis in Sanju, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.
