Well, the film’s title, Ajaynte Randam Moshanam, literally translates to ‘Ajayan’s Second Theft’, thereby hinting at the high-end action sequences that fans must expect to be enthralled with.

The most highlight-worthy aspect of the film has been the triple roles that Tovino Thomas has enacted in it, dating back to the 1900s, 1950s, and 1990s. The narrative revolves around the three characters, Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan, three of whom are essayed by Thomas himself. They are protagonists belonging to the same hereditary family.

Coming to the other aspects of the Jithin Laal directorial, the film was first shot in 2D format. Later on, prior to its release, the makers settled down to convert it into 3D. The date of its theatrical release was made to coincide with the auspicious time of Onam, thereby fueling the buzz for all the right reasons.

Malaika Arora’s father Anil Mehta’s funeral: Arbaaz Khan-Sshura Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan and more arrive to offer condolences

The entertainment world was shocked by the news of Anil Mehta’s passing, father of actresses Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora. As final rites are underway, numerous industry friends have gathered to pay their respects. Close friend Kareena Kapoor Khan, along with her husband Saif Ali Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor, as well as Arbaaz Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and others, have all attended the ceremony.

Malaika Arora’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan arrived to offer his condolences to Anil Mehta with his now wife, Sshura Khan. Her ex-boyfriend Arjun Kapoor was also seen in a video interacting with those around him.

Malaika Arora’s friends Sophie Choudry, Orry, Sajid Khan with his sister Farah Khan, Kin Sharma, Guru Randhawa, Mohit Marwah, Arshad Warsi, Shibani Akhtar and many others were also present to offer their condolences.

Several more members of the Khan family, including Sohail Khan with his son and Alvira Khan, also came to pay their last respects.

Hours after her father’s passing, Malaika Arora released a statement on Instagram expressing the family’s deep sorrow. “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock over this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect,” the statement reads.

The Mumbai police have indicated that Anil Mehta, father of actor-model Malaika Arora, appears to have died by suicide based on initial findings. The case is currently under investigation, with the body having been sent for a post-mortem examination.

DCP Crime Branch Raj Tilak Roshan informed the media that both police and forensic teams are involved in the investigation. The body, found at Mehta’s residence on the sixth floor, is being thoroughly examined as part of the ongoing probe. While the preliminary assessment suggests suicide, all potential aspects are being carefully reviewed as per ANI.

For those who may not be aware, Malaika Arora was away from home when her father passed away. She was in Pune at the time and promptly returned to Mumbai upon receiving the news.

UP Cops’ Identification Struggle After Woman’s Headless, Naked Body Found

A woman’s headless and naked body was found on the national highway at Gujaini in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur early yesterday, raising suspicion that she was raped, murdered and the body was thrown on the highway. Twenty-four hours later, police are yet to make a breakthrough and attempts to identify the woman are on.

Police have scanned CCTV footage in the area to identify the woman. CCTV cameras at a hospital on the other side of the highway show a woman of similar build walking hours before the body was spotted on the highway. The woman in the footage is seen wearing grey trousers and shreds of a grey garment have been found near the body.

Police have said the body was first spotted at 6.15 am yesterday. Three teams have been formed to investigate the matter. The police have said there are no CCTV cameras at the spot where the body was found, but a CCTV camera about 3 km away has captured visuals of a woman walking alone. The clothes the woman is seen wearing match the pieces of cloth and slippers found on the highway, police have said. Police are looking at the CCTV footage to spot any more clues.

The body has been sent for post-mortem to confirm the cause of death. Police have found no complaint of a woman missing in the district that can be linked with the body recovered on the highway. Cops are now using frames for the CCTV footage to ask residents of the area if they have any information about the woman.

A forensic team has visited the spot and collected samples of teeth and bones for testing.

A senior police officer said they are exploring if it is a case of accident or crime and are also trying to confirm if the victim was a local resident or was from somewhere else.

Akhilesh Yadav, Lok Sabha MP and chief of UP’s main Opposition Samajwadi Party, has demanded exemplary action in the chilling case.

“In another shocking case of crime against women, a woman’s headless, naked body was found on a highway in Kanpur. The matter should be investigated fairly and such punishment should be meted out so that criminals get scared and such incidents are not repeated,” Mr Yadav said, hoping that the BJP-led state government would “rise above politics” and investigate the incident.
