Eknath Shinde agrees to join the new Mahayuti government as one of the two deputy Chief Ministers, while the government is likely to be led by BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis. The power-sharing formula, including portfolios, will be finalized after further discussions. A wider cabinet formation will follow once the final decisions are made.
