This year, for the 2024 general elections, Delhi will go to the polls in a single phase on May 25. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.In the last two elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the undisputed winner here, with all seven seats in the bag. During the 2019 polls, the saffron party received a mammoth 56.86% votes, restricting the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to 22.51% and 18.11%.However, unlike the past two times when Delhi witnessed a three-way contest between the BJP, Congress and AAP, this time around, the BJP is up for a one-on-one battle with the INDIA bloc.As per a seat-sharing agreement, the AAP will field its candidates on four seats in Delhi, while the Congress party will have the other three seats.
