Le Sserafim announces 2nd Studio album Pureflow Pt 1: Know everything about it here

South Korean girl group Le Sserafim, consisting of Huh Yunjin, Kim Chaewon, Kazuha, Sakura, and Hong Eunchae, will return on May 22 with their 2nd Studio Album Pureflow Pt. 1.

Announced via the global fandom platform Weverse, Le Sserafim will release the album preceded by the lead single Celebration on April 24. The album marks a new chapter for the group, capturing the changes and growth that come from recognising and confronting fear, while presenting a new perspective on what it means to be fearless.
To accompany the announcement, a logo motion video for the new album was unveiled on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel, as well as SOURCE MUSIC and Le Sserafim’s official social media channels, offering an initial look at the album’s visual direction. Set against a soft blue backdrop with an ethereal soundscape, the video features the phrase “FOR WE ARE NOT FEARLESS, AND THEREFORE POWERFUL,” before “POWERFUL” remains and transforms into “PUREFLOW.”

Mirroring Le Sserafim’s own name as an anagram of “FEARLESS,” the album title continues this wordplay, further sparking curiosity around the group’s evolving narrative. The lead single, Celebration, is a pulse-driven track built on an addictive and uplifting sound, celebrating the moment of finding the inner strength to face change.
Pureflow pt.1 arrives seven months after the global success of their previous release, Spaghetti. Its lead single, Spaghetti (feat. J-Hope of BTS), debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the group’s third and highest career entry.
They also took the Times Square stage for a special year-end performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026, which aired live nationwide in the US on December 31.
About Le Sserafim
Le Sserafim is the first girl group launched by Source Music under HYBE. Since their powerful debut in May 2022 with 1st mini album Fearless, the group has continued to expand their global presence. Their first English single Perfect Night debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100, followed by their first Billboard Hot 100 entry at No. 99 with EASY.
Le Sserafim made history as the fastest K-pop act to be invited to perform at Coachella after debut, taking the stage in April 2024, and have since performed at major stages including MTV VMAs and EMAs.

Dhurandhar Becomes First Indian Franchise to Cross Rs 3000 Crore

Dhurandhar has just achieved something no Indian franchise has managed before. The two films together have now crossed the Rs 3000 crore mark worldwide, setting a massive new benchmark for Indian cinema on the global stage. Backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the franchise has also become the only Indian film series where both instalments individually entered the Rs 1000 crore club, highlighting its rare consistency and scale.

Dhurandhar

The journey began with the first Dhurandhar, which released amid cautious trade expectations despite decent buzz. However, once it hit theatres, the film quickly turned into a box office phenomenon. Strong word of mouth, repeat value and audience curiosity around its storyline helped it sustain an extraordinary run for weeks. It eventually crossed Rs 1300 crore worldwide, while also emerging as one of the biggest Hindi hits ever with over Rs 1000 crore gross, laying a solid foundation for a long term franchise.

Building on that momentum, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge took things to an entirely different level. Led by Ranveer Singh, the sequel opened to huge anticipation and delivered beyond expectations. It has already collected over Rs 1700 crore globally and continues to perform strongly in several markets. The film also created history by becoming the first to cross Rs 1000 crore net in a single language at the Indian box office, further strengthening the franchise’s dominance.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is the consistency across both films. Each instalment not only delivered record breaking numbers but also showed remarkable staying power in theatres, driven by mass appeal, high octane action and strong audience connect. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the series has redefined the scale of action storytelling in Hindi cinema. More than just a milestone, crossing Rs 3000 crore signals a shift in how Indian franchises are now perceived globally, proving they can stand shoulder to shoulder with the biggest film series in the world.
