TVK General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna moved the Madras High Court, seeking a CBI probe into the Karur stampede during Vijay’s rally. He alleged police and ruling DMK members engineered the incident through electricity disruptions and inadequate arrangements. The petition, which also sought to allow visits to victims’ families, was subsequently refused by the high court registry.
