“Wish I Had Lived In Such A House…”: PM Breaks Down At Maharashtra Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today got emotional as he spoke about a massive housing society project that has recently been completed in Maharashtra. The Prime Minister said he wished he had the opportunity to stay in such a house when he was young. “I went and saw (the project) and I thought that I wish I too had a chance to live in such a house in my childhood,” the Prime Minister said.

“Happiness comes when people’s dreams come true. Their blessings are my biggest asset,” he said, struggling to hold back tears.

The Prime Minister dedicated 90,000 houses completed under PMAY-Urban in Maharashtra and 15,000 houses of Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur. He termed the project as “the country’s largest society built under PM Awas Yojana”.

The Solapur project’s beneficiaries comprised thousands of handloom workers, vendors, power loom workers, rag pickers, beedi workers and drivers.

The PM was addressing a gathering in Solapur after laying the foundation stone of 8 AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) projects worth around Rs 2,000 crore in the state.

PM Modi, who said his government is inspired by Lord Ram’s principles of governance with honesty, urged people to light “Ram Jyoti on January 22”, the day a grand consecration ceremony would take place at Ayodhya Ram temple.

“Modi’s guarantee means ‘guarantee puri hone ki guarantee’. Lord Ram taught us to honour commitments made and we are fulfilling all goals we set for the welfare of the poor and their empowerment,” he said.

The Prime Minister also distributed the first and second instalments to 10,000 beneficiaries of PM-SVANIDHI in Maharashtra during the programme.

PM Modi had earlier urged the public not to visit Ayodhya on January 22 and instead celebrate the day like Diwali by lighting a diya in their house. He will attend the ‘pran pratishtha’ or consecration ceremony at the Ram temple, which is expected to be opened to the public the next day.

Rashmika Mandanna says Pushpa 2 is going to be âœbiggerâ than the first part

Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most anticipated films. With everyone eagerly awaiting the release of the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer, Rashmika has revealed that the film will be even “bigger” than its predecessor.

In a recent interview with a leading entertainment portal, Rashmika disclosed that she has completed shooting for a song for Pushpa 2 and mentioned that the entire team is putting in a lot of effort to ensure that the film becomes a success, similar to Pushpa: The Rise.

Rashmika further emphasised the team’s commitment to meeting high expectations for the sequel and described the enthusiasm and effort put into the project. She said, “I just shot for a song for Pushpa 2 and I was just like, ‘How are you guys thinking about this?’” She also highlighted the open-ended nature of the story and how much fun the filmmaking process was.

In 2021, Pushpa: The Rise was written and directed by Sukumar. The movie emerged as a huge success and dominated the box office. As a result, it’s natural for the team to feel the pressure before the release of the sequel. However, when questioned about this, Rashmika said, “There is no pressure. When I see the first film, I feel I need to buckle up. But in Pushpa 2, my character is a lot thought about and better. I am really excited but not nervous. I, as an actor, have grown over the last two years that I am able to deliver better. That gives confidence to me.”

The filming of Pushpa 2 was briefly paused in November 2023 due to Allu Arjun’s health issues but later resumed. Allu Arjun had previously shared his first-look poster for the movie, featuring him in a saree with his face painted in blue and red. Additionally, a look poster for Fahadh Faasil was also released. Fans are now eagerly anticipating the release of Rashmika Mandanna’s poster.
