A 24-year-old man allegedly administered HIV-infected blood to a 22-year-old woman when her parents called off her wedding with him after he tested positive for the contagion, police said on Saturday.

The incident is reported to have taken place on March 11 between 8:50 pm and 9:50 pm at a popular hostel chain located in the Indiranagar area.

A case has been filed against a Bengaluru man for allegedly sending obscene and inappropriate messages to a woman working at a State Bank of India branch.
