Bollywood’s adored couple, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, are giving fans major relationship goals once again. The actor recently shared a sweet glimpse of his movie date with Mira on Instagram, showing Mira engrossed on her phone while he snapped a candid picture. Captioning it, “The series continues…,” Shahid seems to be playfully documenting their movie outings. Previously, he shared a similar moment on a flight, humorously captioning it, “I am the second husband,” as Mira was lost in her phone again.

Beyond his personal life, Shahid Kapoor has been keeping fans excited on the work front. He was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with Kriti Sanon. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting Deva, where Shahid stars alongside Pooja Hegde. Set to release on February 14, 2025, the action thriller, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, will see Shahid in a rugged police avatar.

Kartik Aaryan, known for his passion for cars, recently shared the heartwarming story of his very first car. In a conversation with Mashable India, the actor opened up about buying a third-hand Toyota Corolla for around Rs 50,000. Despite its challenges, like a leaky roof that dripped water on him during the monsoon and a driver’s door that wouldn’t open, Kartik fondly remembers the car as his companion for countless long drives and difficult days. 

Though the car became unrepairable over time, he admitted it was hard to part with it. “I was quite emotional when I had to give it away,” he shared, adding that instead of selling it, he passed it on to someone in need. Kartik described it as an experience that reminded him of humble beginnings. Today, Kartik has achieved his dream of owning luxury cars, including a Lamborghini, Range Rover, McLaren and Mini Cooper. In a recent interview, he reflected on his journey, “I wanted to make sure I’d never feel a lack of cars again.”

Noted Kannada actor and director Guruprasad was found dead in his Bengaluru apartment today, the police said.

The 52-year-old director was known for his acclaimed films such as ‘Mata’, ‘Eddelu Manjunatha’, and ‘Director’s Special’.

The police said neighbours dialled them reporting odour from his apartment in Bengaluru’s Dasanapura neighbourhood, after which a police team went there.

Guruprasad lived alone.

The police said they found the body, decomposed and hanging, in the drawing room. While the matter is under investigation, initial reports indicated Guruprasad had been struggling with financial difficulties and pressure from creditors. The police said they are investigating from every angle, including death by suicide.

“This morning, the director was found to have died by suicide in an apartment under the jurisdiction of the Madanayakanahalli police station. It is known that he was experiencing significant financial difficulties,” Bengaluru Rural Superintendent of Police CK Baba told reporters.

“Neighbours noticed and reported the incident. A case has been registered under BNS 194. Our teams are conducting an in-depth investigation,” Mr Baba said.

Former Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai in a post on X offered his condolences. “It is a sad fact that famous film director Guruprasad has passed away. He has given many good films to Karnataka. It is very painful that he committed suicide. May god rest his soul in eternal peace. Om Shanti,” Mr Bommai posted in Kannada.
