Before Gong Yoo returns as the Ddakji-playing character in Squid Game Season 2, the actor is set to feature in a K-drama titled The Trunk. The series will see him play a married man alongside Seo Hyun Jin. It revolves around a secret marriage service and a man and woman who enter in a contract marriage. The show is poised to explore loneliness, emotional baggage and love.

The makers have shared new stills from The Trunk highlighting the main characters. One still sees Gong Yoo playing the guitar. Another sees Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin seated at a dinner table. All the stills showcase the characters with a serious look on their faces. It’s as intriguing as it gets.

Popular Kannada filmmaker Guruprasad was found dead in his Bangalore home on Sunday, 3rd November 2024. He passed away at the age of 52.

According to reports from the police, the director may have committed suicide two to three days earlier. His death was reported by his neighbours when they noticed a foul smell coming from his apartment.

He is known for Mata (2006) and Eddelu Manjunatha (2009). Many reports also suggest that the director was facing financial issues as his movie Ranganayaka did not perform well. The pressures reportedly drove him into depression. The director was also arrested in a cheque-bounce case in January 2023.

On October 26, Guruprasad was also said to have sent a social media message to his friends on a ‘Friends Forum,’ informing that he was taking rest due to health-related struggles and would start work after Diwali.

His postmortem was carried at Victoria Hospital mortuary, after which the body was handed over to his family. We send our deepest condolences to his family and well-wishers during this difficult time.

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne’s funeral is likely to be held next week. The singer passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel room balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As per reports, he had consumed drugs and emergency services were alerted of his aggressive behaviour ahead of his passing.

As per reports in the Sun UK, Liam Payne’s body will reach the UK in a couple of days and his funeral might be held next week in St Paul’s Cathedral in Wolverhampton. Liam’s family has not confirmed the news so far.

Liam Payne’s death left his fans and the music industry in shock. As per reports, multiple substances were found in his body including pink cocaine. 

The members of One Direction released a joint statement as they mourned his loss. They wrote, “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans. We will miss him terribly. We love you, Liam.”
