BJP MP Sambit Patra has strongly criticized the Congress party, labelling its working committee as the “Pakistan Working Committee.” This accusation follows Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi questioning the authenticity of the 2019 surgical strikes. Patra alleges that the Congress is undermining national security and echoing Pakistani narratives, especially after the recent terror attack.

Farooq Abdullah, who was also seen taking selfies with tourists in Pahalgam, further urged them not to be afraid of such attacks.

The alleged incident that occurred in Paud village on Friday has triggered anger among locals, who held a protest condemning the act.
