Security forces and terrorists engaged in an encounter in Kulgam’s Tangmarg area. This followed a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley, which killed 28 people, including tourists and an Indian Navy officer. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured a strong response. Sketches of three Pakistani suspects, Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha, were released.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has promised a firm response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Twenty-six people, mostly tourists, died in the attack. The government will hunt down the perpetrators and those behind the attack. A high-level meeting was held with top military officials. Additional troops are being deployed for search operations.
