“Our hope here is that India responds to this terrorist attack in a way that doesn’t lead to a broader regional conflict,” Vance said in a podcast interview with Fox News. “And we hope, frankly, that Pakistan, to the extent that they’re responsible, cooperates with India to make sure that the terrorists sometimes operating in their territory are hunted down and dealt with,” Vance added.

Another Nepalese student was discovered dead in her hostel room at KIIT, Bhubaneswar. This incident occurred nearly two and a half months after a similar death. Police suspect suicide and have ruled out foul play. The 18-year-old was a first-year BTech student. Her phone and laptop are under forensic examination. The motive remains unclear as investigations continue.
