Prince William Mentions Brother Prince Harry For The First Time In Years As He Reflects On SPECIAL Childhood Memory: ‘I Remember…’

Prince William relives a childhood memory with his brother while narrating the story in his new documentary, making it the first time the Prince of Wales has mentioned his brother in public in a long time.

The member of the British royal family talked about his five-year-long Homewards program in the upcoming documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, which is expected to be released on ITV on October 30 and 31, 2021.

The program title suggests its content quite effectively – everyone can assist in solving the problem of finding houses for homeless people. Joining William’s voice this time again is a memory of the late Princess Diana when brought a young William and Harry to The Passage – a charity that aims to help people who are homeless or at risk.

Diana, as William recalled, had a way of putting everyone in the room at ease and it led to the creation of a happy and friendly atmosphere hitherto to the circumstances. William admitted that at first, he thought that homeless people would be the most miserable, but he was proven wrong as he enjoyed the vibrant mood. He said in the docu clip, “I remember at the time kind of thinking, ‘Well if everyone doesn’t have a home, they’re all going to be really sad.’ But it was incredible how happy an environment it was.”

It also shifted his outlook, making him understand that the outlook he had was not the only way to live in this world. Connecting with those who talked about how things were hard for them was a unique concept for him and made him comprehend some of the problems many people struggle with on a daily basis.

Since their first visit to The Passage in 1993, William has kept visiting the charity and in 2019 he became the patron of the organisation after coming back several times. When Harry was asked such opinions in the 2017 interview, he shared the same views and thanked their mom for giving them a chance to experience the ‘normal world’ and many social problems including the issue of homelessness.

Harry told Newsweek in 2017, “My mother took a huge part in showing me an ordinary life, including taking me and my brother to see homeless people. Thank goodness I’m not completely cut off from reality. People would be amazed by the ordinary life William and I live.”

The last time the two brothers were seen together in public was at the memorial service held in August for Lord Robert Fellowes, one of their relatives, where the two brothers were reported not to have spoken with each other.

Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra to unite for cross-cultural romcom titled Param Sundari? Here’s what we know

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor have reportedly joined forces with director Tushar Jalota for a romantic comedy titled Param Sundari. Earlier reports suggested that Malhotra and the leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor, were initially set to star in a thriller but ultimately decided to pivot and collaborate on a rom-com instead.

According to a report by Mid Day, Jalota’s directorial venture tells a classic story of opposites attracting, featuring Malhotra’s character from North India and Kapoor’s character from Kerala.

The report further revealed that Malhotra portrays a sophisticated and wealthy business tycoon from Delhi, while Janhvi plays a modern artist with strong opinions and values. The film explores how the two characters fall in love despite their contrasting personalities, as stated by a source.

Pre-production has commenced on the romantic film, which will be the first collaboration between the lead pair. Jalota, known for directing Dasvi (2022) featuring Abhishek Bachchan, is reportedly aiming to start filming Param Sundari in December.

The report reveals that the first filming schedule will begin in Delhi with Sidharth. Following that, the team plans to travel to Kerala for a shoot, after which the remainder will be filmed on specially constructed sets at a Mumbai studio.

The production design team has been tasked with creating two elaborate sets in Mumbai: one representing a spacious house typical of Delhi and the other showcasing the earthy interiors of traditional Kerala homes. If all goes according to plan, filming is expected to conclude by February 2025.

Additionally, Sheetal Sharma, who recently worked on Munjya and Stree 2, is serving as the costume designer for the project, and the look tests for both actors were conducted recently.

Given that the film’s title is inspired by Kriti Sanon’s dance number from Mimi (2021), there is speculation that she may make a cameo in the Dinesh Vijan production. However, the producers remain tight-lipped about any such involvement.

In the meantime, Malhotra was last seen in Dharma Productions’ Yodha, alongside Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. Janhvi was last seen in Devara with JR NTR, which received a positive reception from both fans and critics.

“Incapable”: Aaditya Thackeray Jabs Ashwini Vaishnaw After Bandra Stampede

Hours after a stampede at Mumbai’s Bandra terminus early this morning left nine people injured, the Shiv Sena (UBT) slammed Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and said it is shameful that the country has “incapable ministers” at the helm.

Taking to X, party leader and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya said the incident reflects “incapable” the minister is. “Wish the reel minister was a rail minister for once. The incident at Bandra only reflects how incapable the current Railways Minister is. The BJP has made Ashwini Vaishnav ji a Prabhari for BJP Maharashtra for elections, but every week there are some incidents and accidents that occur with the railways. Such a shame that our country has been forced under such incapable ministers,” he said.

The Opposition uses the “reel minister” expression to take jabs at the Railways Minister over incidents of derailments and train accidents. Riled by the offensive, the minister said in Parliament in August, “We’re not just people who make reels, we’re people who work hard.”

The Assembly election in Maharashtra is less than a month away and the BJP leadership has appointed Mr Vaishnaw, a former bureaucrat, the party campaign’s in-charge.

The stampede at Bandra terminus, officials have said, was caused due to the passenger rush ahead of Diwali. While the condition of seven people is stable now, two have suffered critical injuries.

A Railways spokesperson said the incident took place when passengers tried to board the Bandra-Gorakpur Antyodaya Express.

“The train’s scheduled departure was 5.15 am. Around 2.44 am, the train was being brought from the yard to the platform. Before the train stopped, some passengers tried to board it. Two people were injured and the Railways arranged an ambulance and rushed them to KB Bhabha Hospital. They are under treatment,” he said.

The spokesperson said Railways runs special trains to tackle passenger rush during the festive season. “We request the passengers, suitable arrangements have been made, RPF, GRP and ticket checking staff are present. Please board trains in an orderly way and by queuing up. Please don’t board moving trains. Please follow railway staff’s instructions so that you reach your destination safely,” the Railways spokesperson said.

The Gorakhpur-bound train has 22 compartments, all unreserved. People gathered on the platform from midnight to grab seats. Nearly 1,500 people were on the platform when the train came and a stampede broke out. Some people also fell on the tracks.
