Sresan Pharma owner S Ranganathan has been arrested in Chennai over the deaths of several children in Madhya Pradesh linked to the toxic cough syrup ‘Coldrif’.

Ranganathan, a veteran in the pharmaceutical industry known for his nutritional syrup Pronit, faces scrutiny as his manufacturing unit has been sealed and his office cleared out.
