India’s climb up the income ladder was slow for decades, taking 60 years to move from low income to lower-middle income. Since then, growth has sharply accelerated, and a likely transition into the upper-middle-income category by around 2030.

Legendary Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani, renowned for defining modern couture and dressing global icons, has died at 93. He founded the Valentino fashion house in 1959, becoming synonymous with high glamour and shaping Italian fashion for over five decades. His legacy includes iconic designs and building a global luxury empire.

The demolition will cover an area of 1.22 lakh square metres on Dr Rajendra Prasad Road to make space for the two new ultra-modern buildings.
