A drunk software engineer narrowly missed hitting six pedestrians on a Bengaluru footpath when he lost control of his car and crashed into a restaurant wall. The 42-year-old techie, returning from a party, jumped a median and sped towards the Barbeque Nation restaurant. One person sustained injuries, and two vehicles were damaged in the incident.

The BJP also accused the Congress of insulting the Indian armed forces by questioning military operations and urging restraint towards Pakistan.
