The Ministry of External Affairs emphasized India’s advocacy for peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, highlighting that initiating peace talks is the prerogative of the involved parties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reinforced India’s commitment to a peaceful resolution and expressed readiness to play a constructive role in achieving peace.
