Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Pralhad Joshi, Anurag Thakur, Rao Inderjit Singh, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Trivendra Singh Rawat are among the prominent names in the second list of BJP’s candidates for Lok Sabha polls. ​Sadananda Gowda, former Karnataka CM and ex-Union minister, has been replaced by Union minister of state Shobha Karandlaje in Bangalore North. Former Karnataka BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel has been benched in Dakshin Kannada in favour of Brijesh Chouta.

State Bank of India has provided detailed information on 22,217 electoral bonds to the Election Commission. Uncashed amounts have been transferred to PM’s National Relief Fund. The bank recorded the purchase and redemption details of the EBs, including the names of purchasers, denomination of EBs, date of redemption, and names of political parties.
