Imtiaz Ali opened up about the making of Safar, a heartfelt track from Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal. He shared about shooting the track and how the tune continues to resonate with audiences till date. Imtiaz noted that Safar sounded different musically in the beginning and changed along the way.

Imtiaz also mentioned that a moment that left a lasting impression on him was shooting a scene at a railway station in Budapest, where Shah Rukh Khan’s character sits quietly as a train nears. He added, “I really love taking the shots of that song because there was a sense of great association… that kind of shot.”
He also spoke about the line ‘idhar ka hi hoon na, udhar ka raha, safar ka hi tha main safar ka raha.’ He reflected that the line captures a deeper feeling of displacement, the sense of belonging neither to one’s origins nor to one’s destination. This is something he believes defines the modern human condition.
About Jab Harry Met Sejal
Jab Harry Met Sejal, a movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, was released in 2017. Sejal, an exuberant woman, loses her engagement ring on a trip. However, when she enlists the help of Harry, a flirtatious tour guide, to retrieve it, she eventually falls in love with him.
Our reviewer had given 3 stars to the film. We mentioned, “JHMS is a happy romantic comedy that you can sing and dance along with. Pritam’s music is a stand out feature. The performances are really strong. The film’s dramatic soul rests in Imtiaz Ali’s usual Sufi belief where the story and characters tell you that the universe transpires to make lovers meet. That what you’re looking for is looking for you.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chose a simple, heartfelt way to mark 19 years with Abhishek Bachchan, sharing a warm family photo with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan on April 20. With no fuss and no elaborate words, just a quiet, happy moment, the post beautifully reflected the kind of bond they’ve built over the years, rooted in togetherness, comfort and staying real away from the spotlight.
Their story goes back to the early 2000s, when they first met on film sets and slowly built a strong friendship. Working together in films like Guru and Dhoom 2, their connection became more evident, both on screen and off it. What started as a friendship gradually turned into something deeper, leading to their much talked about wedding in 2007, which brought together two iconic families.

Over the years, they have managed to strike a balance between their individual careers and personal life. While Aishwarya continued to represent Indian cinema on global platforms with grace and selective roles, Abhishek explored a mix of commercial and performance driven projects, carving his own space. Through it all, they have remained each other’s biggest support, often choosing to keep their relationship private and grounded.

With the arrival of Aaradhya in 2011, their world changed in the most beautiful way. From red carpet appearances to moments like this anniversary post, their bond reflects a sense of closeness that feels genuine and unforced. Nearly two decades later, their journey still feels steady and real, built on companionship, mutual respect and shared memories.
