Israel and Iran exchanged fresh attacks early Sunday, with the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) claiming an “extensive series of strikes” on the headquarters of the Iranian Defence Ministry and a nuclear project.

Amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East following Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran. He stated that any attack on the US would be met with unprecedented military force. Trump also distanced the US from the Israeli airstrikes, which targeted Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and resulted in the deaths of key Iranian figures.

This marks a historic moment for the state as it was the first time a payload was launched through a rocket from the state.
