US President Donald Trump doubled down on his claim of brokering a truce between India and Pakistan during military conflict earlier this year.

UP Police arrested two associates of cleric Tauqeer Raza Khan following an encounter in Fatehganj Paschimi. The accused, Mohd Idris and Iqbal, had allegedly snatched a constable’s anti-riot firearm and fired at police during a September 26 clash. Police recovered the stolen gun and other weapons, vowing continued action against those inciting unrest in Bareilly.
