A scuffle broke out outside Parliament between BJP and INDIA bloc MPs after Rahul Gandhi approached BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi, who had been injured during the confrontation. BJP MPs accused Gandhi of pushing Sarangi, while Gandhi denied the allegations and claimed he was obstructed and pushed by BJP MPs.

Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge reported being pushed by BJP MPs during a Parliament protest. The incident caused him to fall and injure his knees. Kharge struggled to enter the building. The INDIA bloc protested, demanding an apology from home minister Amit Shah. The protest escalated into a shouting match between opposing parties.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari shared his views on the concept of live-in relationships and same-sex marriages in India, terming them “wrong”.
